The gallery offers consultancy for corporate and private collectors. Services include sourcing of specific genre artwork / building of collections, re-sale of investment works via auction brokerage or through private treaty sales, advice on acquisitions and their subsequent investment growth potential. Valuations for insurance purposes, advice on superannuation art purchases, relocations of artworks and assistance with secure storage are additional services offered by the gallery. Special event functions are occasionally welcomed, where we cater for up to 100 people for cocktails, and special viewings, wine tastings and product launches.
The Director, David Rex-Livingston, has over twenty years experience in the art market including; formal Art Practise, Postgraduate in Professional Art studies from COFA, NSW ~ Graduate Diploma in Art Education, Perth ~ Bachelor of Art (Fine Art), Curtin University, Perth ~ Collectables specialist, Wemyss Fine Art Auctioneers, Sydney, and further ~ working for prominent dealer galleries, including Martin Browne Fine Art and Ray Hughes Gallery, Sydney. The gallery has been operating independently for over 8 years with a following both nationally and internationally.
rex-livingston art dealer, with an extension to it's art market interests, launches its official, first publication of fine art catalogues and books, with the monograph, John Firth-Smith, From Here to There, written by Anita Angel, at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in November 2006.
