Desert Fields, new works.

Exhibition dates: 15th July to 8th August, 2010.

Middlebrook’s work is a celebration of the colours of the Australian landscape. His works deals with colour as tone and relies heavily on his drawings inspired from and based on, the salt plains and salt beds in Central and Western Australia.

His work is held by numerous collections including Newcastle Regional Art Gallery; Maitland City Art Gallery; University of Newcastle, School of Fine Art; Trinity Grammar School, Summer Hill; Museum of the Senses, Sendai Japan; News Corporation, Sydney and Broken Hill City Art Gallery.

David Middlebrook is a Phd, professional artist and lecturer. He currently lives and works in Newcastle, NSW.
