INFORMATION FOR PROSPECTIVE EXHIBITORS
Rex-Livingston Projects, now into its third year at 182-184 Katoomba Street, Katoomba, continues the display of specific, high quality exhibitions from both local and national artists. The aim of our project space is to provide an opportunity for exceptional emerging and established artists to exhibit in a professionally managed space in the wonderful highly visited destination of the Blue Mountains and specifically - Katoomba.
Rex-Livingston Projects offers a professional curated exhibiting space and provides assistance with all aspects of holding a successful exhibition. Proposals are invited from emerging and established artists, groups and curators.
Exhibition duration ranges from 1 week exhibitions to a maximum of 3 week exhibitions.
A 50% deposit is required as confirmation of booking once exhibition dates have been confirmed and on signing the exhibition agreement.
HIRE FEE inc gst;
1 week @ $950.
2 weeks @ $1800
3 weeks @ $2600.
Gallery commission is 25% + gst on sales.
Opening drinks, light catering and bar staff are split at 50% artist and 50% gallery (approx $100 each inc gst).

Exhibition listings in: Art Almanac, Art Gallery Guide, Facebook page for Rex-Livingston Projects, Rex-Livingston Art + Objects and David Rex-Livingston, Instagram - rexlivingstonartobjects, Linkedin page - David Rex-Livingston, plus local press avenues including Discover Blue Mountains magazine, Blue Mountains Experience and the Gazette. (Advertising can be arranged and quoted as required for inclusion in other selected Art media and local media). For an additional cost the gallery can professionally design and produce 300 quality hardcopy invites. Costings for printed brochures / booklet catalogues are also available on request.
Management of exhibition;
Curatorial advice and staffing for duration of the exhibition
Assistance with hanging and installation of works
Production and printing of room list, CV and artist statement
Merchant facility for payments including eftpos, visa and mastercard
Insurance on artworks for loss, damage, theft etc., (however our excess is $1000 per claim so this is based on values above $2000)
Art Transport / courier services (available at artist’s expense).

1. Your contact details.
2. The proposed title of your exhibition.
3. An artist statement about your work.
4. Your proposed exhibition dates and duration time.
5. Any special installation requirements (or questions).
6. Medium of work to be exhibited (and dimensions if known).
7. A selection of images of works to be exhibited in JPEG format, file 300dpi, max 1.5 MB file size per image.
8. Your artist CV (exhibition history / art education / courses undertaken etc.)
9. Disclosure of third party relationships, (shared commissions with other galleries, agents etc.)

The Director, David Rex-Livingston, has more than 28 years experience in the art market, covering areas such as Gallery Directorship since 2000, Auction sales and management, gallery management for dealer galleries including Martin Browne Fine Art, along with formal academic qualifications in Art Education, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Curtin WA) and Postgraduate in Professional Art Studies from COFA, Sydney.
